I just read an article interviewing RDM posted by dxf in the #145 thread. I know. I know. RDM’s lied to us before but it really was convincing and made total sense.
I think I couldn’t bring myself to believe it because of all the work I’d done over in…you know…in that other thread. I wasn’t even close. It’s humbling and I’ll grow from the experience.

Since I first saw it I knew he was looking at someone who wasn’t there, but not until last week did the Duh switch kick on and say:

I so wanted the 5th to be Starbuck’s father that I couldn’t see it right in front of me.
And isn’t the chalice supposed to catch Christ’s blood during the crucifixion? And red dress 6, the epitome of Cylon identity in the series, is in the Christ position. Am I reaching too far?

I’ve only skimmed over the previous posts so i’m sorry if i’m repeating anyone.
I had a play around with the last supper picture and if you move the section on the left of Head Six and superimpose it over the right side, lining up the glasses on both sides, it looks as though the knife is being held to baltar’s head. It also looks as though Athena is holding Head Six’s hand and Lee is resting his hand on Starbucks shoulder.
It may just be a red herring but its an interesting herring.
That sums it up I think.

And I also agree with someone who posted there that the series could end wit Six’s and the series final words being what her opening words were in the miniseries…
