I love the robots in this, they remind me of the ‘Mechanical Monsters’ from the old Max Fleisher Superman cartoon.
That went over my head.
Iron Giant reminds me of him.
Sky Captain and the world of tommorrow also had robots that were an homage to that cartoon too!
