How bout a meetup out west?
I think we should definitely consider scheduling an LA meetup in conjunction with the Season 3 concert in January (tentative, according to the McCreary website)
That’s a great idea. I’ve got almost zero chance of making it (much as I’d love to) but I SO want to hear from folks that do.
I’d be game for that one.
Actually, I’ll start saving for it now to see if I can snag a ticket to get out there. Ever since Bear guested on GWC, I’ve been telling myself, “Put that DVD down and put the money in a savings account to go see the concert.”
I haven’t been doing that. But I’ve been thinking it.

Would you mind if I edited the thread title to say, “LA/Bear McCreary Concert Meetup” so everyone can tell? Or do you want to do that?
Go ahead, I just added Phoenix becaus that’s where I live but the concert is a much better idea.
I can car pool “out of state” people there . I live next to LAX 
I’d be willing to go and meet up too. Is the concert for sure though?
Pizza and beer would be great for the post-concert get together.
Oh and Chuck, I really resented you hating on LA in a past podcast ep.

As for the concert being a “sure thing,” Bear says it is, though he also says that the date may fluctuate a bit until we get into next year. Hopefully it’ll stabilize in time for us to make plans – and snag some reasonably-priced advanced tickets.

I can’t seem to find a date for the concert though … just that there will be one in October sometime for the release…
