I’ve currently got a few names registered through GoDaddy. They’re not a bad company, but I’m tired of them trying to sell me on stuff I don’t need. Seriously… I don’t want to go through two pages of difficult to read material to get to a checkout page.
Anyway, does anyone know a good, reliable domain registrar?
Sorry, GoDaddy is my first and only choice. Especially now that they do .CA registrations. I’d just tough it out on the checkout pages, and setup an email filter to auto-trash their solicitation emails. 
It’s not their emails (which are fortunately few and far between). It’s the 3 pages worth of other junk they want to sell you before you can get to the actual “pay for this” page.
I to have several domains through Godaddy. on the whole i have no issue with them, they do try to sell more and more stuff when you just want to register something, but they are a for profit company, so I can let it slide. they have not bothered me AFTER i check out so i am good with them as a company. FWIW.
