Kings

Its all but cancelled due to low ratings but its utterly spectacular. beginning to end; acting, storytelling. The entire series is masterpiece and a sin a la firefly for NBC to cancel it, either way i would love hear what the GWC crew think of this incredible show.

It’s cancelled for sure? Too bad, I’ve been waiting for it to return. I thought is was really good, very engaging. Just excellent. Sad to hear there won’t be anymore episodes.

NBTR- Its finishing its run on Saturday’s at 8:00pm… it’s been back on for a few weeks. but will not be getting a second season.

Tks THX. I watched the first half of Season 1 on Hulu (gave up my cable TV awhile back). So at least I’ll have the pleasure of watching a few more episodes.

chapter 1 and javelin were great. not really a spoiler but i’ll be careful; When Silas and Davids mother talk. there were chills.

to bad there’s only two left

One of the best shows on TV, so of course it gets cancelled. The Firefly effect.

It actually took me four or five episodes to figure out it was based on the biblical story of David… I really need to Wikipedia more often.

Yep, Wikipedia is now a verb.

The series has been pretty good, but they really picked it up at “Javelin” and “The New King.” It’s sad that there will be only one season, but least it looks like the series will have some resolution.

i am constanly awed by how awesome the show is. It by all means should be a success. It should appeal to the Christian audience but also to the Sci Fi audience. But some how it never caught on. I dont think they advertiesd it right. I saw ads for it and was intrigued but never knew what it was about. I tried it and instantly fell for it.

I just saw the finale and wow. Despite some issues I had with the pacing of the season, it was a great show. It’s to bad it was cancelled and we won’t see
what happens to David in Gath
was an AWESOME show indeed–really liked it especially the last three episodes. Had a lot of potential.

Spectacular show just saw the last episode, I may be alone here but before the cancellation of firefly was the biggest TV crapification in my adult life. now its kings possibly the best show I’ve seen since Buffy. I’d even rate it higher than BSG and that says a lot about it at least on my end… everyone involved should be incredibly proud of what they achieved. I know it was not a commercial success. But artistically they succeeded without peer. the fact the Emmy’s ignored them… well i wish i could say it was a surprise but its quite frankly expected… I’ll stop ranting on but will encourage those who haven’t to give it a try the premiere was a great introduction.

as for the end of the show i’ll be coming up with my own stories of where they go from there for myself no matter what a network decides i’ll continue to enjoy the universe they made…

p.s. I will say this I don’t think NBC pulled a full on FOX here, they tried to give this show a chance. it may have been marketed poorly, but still they gave it a chance.

Still maybe A future mini series alternate networks… cough cough showtime or HBO.

either way a great big thanks from me to cast and crew. you folk inspired me and thats something special

Hell of a show–wish they had given it s chance. Just the last three eps alone were mind blowing.
