Deadwood is a Great show, just know it got cancelled before it got closed out, so some of the stories are left open.
That happens a lot. It sucks !
From what I’ve read, it’s very clear that Deadwood creater David Milch is to blame for the Deadwood stories not continuing. True HBO did cancell this show, but they were gonna allow a 4th “season” to get made it form of two 2-hour movies. But, my understanding is that Milch Dropped the ball on making that happen.
I watch Jesus of Nazerth this year, and seeing Ian McShane as Judas i had the same feeling. like Judas would look at jeffery hunter and call him a “sorry barb”
kings DVD comes out tomorrow… September 29. Its still a knife in my side that this show was cancelled but at least we get a fancy DVD set to see it all over…
just hoping everyone buys this thing and and later we get a mini series… I know its not realistic but i did say hope. 
totally agree–they need to wrap up the storyline
I kind of like it where it is. leave me hope that they find each other and raise their baby right.
The premier of Kings was sixteen kinds of awesome, but I felt it eventually just kind of ran itself into the ground, so I wasn’t that disappointed when it was canceled. Things happened too fast, or too slow, and it never really got into a groove. There were elements that seemed to be dropped entirely for weeks and then brought back up later with only the “previously on” prologue to remind you that it happened and that it matters again now.
Great potential, but it could’ve been better, and it could’ve been more believable.
Like if Dylan Baker had revealed he’s secretly The Lizard.
I think they did a poor job of marketing this show. The commercials I saw before and during airing made it look like a soap opera, totally turned me off to it. Heck, I still dont know what about this show is SciFi. (I should probably look it up…)

I loved Kings. You, me and Slate’s David Plotz might be the only people out there who did. I think it was too high-concept for NBC, at least at the time. Maybe if they had run it on one of the cable stations it would have done better.
