Interesting article, had not known she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer shortly after the show wrapped.
I hadn’t heard about that either. I am glad to see that things are going well on the health front for her.
I had no idea. That’s amazing and scary.
I know this is gonna sound morbid; but if one of us were to go tomorrow, how would we go about to let GWCommunity know? Get your spouse to post an epitaph? What if you’re single?

Over the summer there was a user named ‘Tighfighter’ who was prolific on the board and just stopped abruptly. There have been inquires but as you said we’re all pretty anonymous. Unless people know each other IRL, we would never know if such a tragic thing occured.
AND you would have checked out not knowing how BSG ends! I believe Miss Muffet and I posted our worries about this several months ago.
Synthroid is not fun and I hope Ms. Sackhoff doesn’t have many problems with it. My last medical appointment wasn’t fun as we’re worried about my heading down the road to hypothyroidism which is reduced functioning. She’s not that much older than me (1 year and about five months) either.
YEa, I remember Tighifighter… he was what came to mind when I broached this subject?
Now whatever happened to GalaxyRanger now? Yoo-hoo? Guten tag herr Ranger? You there? 
GR is still around. He’s just busy teaching. Tighfighter, well…yeah…what happened to him?
Me, I plan to have an obit in the NY Times. So just keep an eye on a metropolitan newspaper. :rolleyes:
(Seriously, I have no idea. I think my wife knows my involvement with this forum enough that she would post something…or at least on Facebook, where I’m friends with several people from the forum. Perhaps some sort of living will is in order…)
From what I’ve “heard” Tighfighter is on another board. So, I’m glad to hear he’s alright.
GR is not as prolific but pops in every now and then.
