Justified

I gotta know if anyone else is watching this amazing show on FX. It is becoming one of my favorite shows on TV now. It is the right mix of drama, comedy, and bad sorryBarbary. The humor is fairly dry but there are some great moments.

The show stars Timothy Olyphant (of Deadwood fame) again playing a US Marshal who is quick with his gun and very deadly to boot. Now he always gives fair warning before he guns down a bad guy and only does it when he is legally justified, hence the name of the show. It is a little bit of a police procedural but only lightly, not so much of a who-done-it as apposed to how do i protect and/or bring in this person. Oh and its based on a short story and character in an Elmore Leonard short story.

I dig FX crime dramas and everyone in this show, and I’m DVR’ing it, but I’m… wow, four weeks behind on TV now. Keep posting, and I’ll catch up.

Goggins is great. As Shayne on the Shield, he was one of those characters I loved to hate.

my wife was the interested one because of lead actor timothy olyphant, and i admit that he was awesome as bullock in deadwood. the show isn’t ultimate top shelf material, but it’s got a great sense of humor and olyphant has charisma for days.

WHAT!? This show is already on the air? I didn’t know that!
I gotta see this. I loved the video chip preview that surfaced around 6 months ago.
And being a HUGE Deadwood fan, (might be my favoriate show of this past decade), I’m of course a big Tim Olyphant fan.
I gotta start TiVoing this right away!

I’ve been enjoying it so far. I was always a little down on Olyphant in deadwood, I thought he was WAY overshadowed by the rest of the cast. But, he is doing a good job here so far.

It is also on On-Demand as i understand.

ITs fun watching it now 'cause i am also watching Deadwood for the first time on DirectTVs 101 channel. Its fun imagining that Olyphant is playing a direct descendant of Bullock (albeit one with a greater sense of humor). Both characters are very much alike.
