the reason I was never able to get into Eve, I prefer a more hands on control of the ships, I don’t know if anyone here ever played Freelancer? but this should be like that on a whole new epic scale with a better economy!
signed up for the beta a few months back, still no news, but it should be out sometime this year

I remember hearing about it back in high school, which was almost ten years ago, and it’s still in “beta”?
actually it just started Beta a few months ago =P
Being a fan of Freespace I think I could get on board with this if it takes off.
But I doubt I’d want more than one MMO, so I’d probably just drop this for TOR 
lets be honest here, TOR won’t be here until 2011 at the earliest 
You might be thinking of Jumpgate. It is my understanding that this is a sequel to it or something like that.
