July 26 Tanglewood J. Williams

If anyone is into sitting under the stars surrounded by natural beauty, while listening to John Williams conduct the Boston Symphony, check out the BSO.org website. July 26 is “Film Night”, a yearly tradition I’ve been attending for awhile now. Lawn tix are $19.00, kids 12 and under are free. New stuff from “Crystal Skull” is slated to be played, and he always includes a nice sampling of all his film works. Everyone not in a seat (there is a covered open air ‘shed’ that the orchestra plays in, more $$ and not as fun, really) brings blankets, lawn chairs, wine, cheese, whatever…it’s quite a blast, and I thought I’d put it out there for any northeastern fans. It’s in a beautiful wooded area in Lenox, MA, right on the NY border. As the sun goes down, people settle in, and the music plays. Awesome. It’d be cool to have a group meetup there.
