Jericho - Season 2

7 new episodes tonight at 10pm on CBS. Anyone else watched the first season of this pretty good show? (I mean apart from me and… around 12 other people in the whole country?)

And now that the WGA strike is over I can actually with a clear conscience recommend you the CBS website to watch the whole first season as writers now get residuals out of it.

Consider this another reco for Jericho, I just finished watching the UHD season 1 marathon yesterday on the ol’ DVR. I hope season 2 is as good as the first.

FWIW, top 5 guilty pleasures* in order:

  1. Jericho
  2. Lost
  3. Torchwood (but not Dr. Who)
  4. The Girls Next Door (tho, probably not enough boob shots for most of you guys)
  5. Celebrity rehab w/Dr Drew (it’s gritty and morally challenging, so I’m only slightly ashamed of myself for this one)
  • Guilty pleasure= anything not related to Battlestar Galactica and/or Firefly

ehhhh, i tried watching this when it first premiered, could never get into it.

The 1st three episodes of season 2 are “leaked” on the net and Ive watched all three. All I will say is, I am very impressed and I loved what I saw so far. I have been a big fan of this show since the beginning and I really hate to see it struggle like it has since good TV is so hard to find now a days.

This is a bump, primarily, because I was looking to start a Jericho thread of my own. I don’t know what the rules for starting threads on shows here. Should

I watched the first three leaked episodes of season 2 and had to wait until last Tuesday’s episode 4 for new content. I was blown away. I don’t cry at television, but everything about the episode was pitch-perfect and I wept like

It was the best episode of Jericho I have ever seen. And I think that the season finale was one of the best episodes of television that I’ve ever watched on network television, period.

Putting my money where my mouth is: I love the show so much that I will send the first, or second season premiere as a gift via the iTunes store to the first five people on the forum who send me their email addresses and promise to do the same if they like the show.

yeah, I’m hooked as well. scares the crap out of me, but I can’t look away

I did not see that ending coming until … right at the very end. TV shows rarely surprise me anymore, so I was way stoked about this ep.

I just finished episodes 4 and 5 and wow, Im so blown away by this show! It makes me so sad/frustrated that this sort of show isnt embraced by so many more folks out there.

Good contact info listed on Remote Access Saving Jericho. Again. posting. Folks are already urging CBS to keep the show around and SciFi to pick it up if CBS passes. Again.

I haven’t seen anything official but the poster asserts continued low ratings for the show may spell an abrupt end. :frowning: I’m so tired of good stuff starving for viewers. And of course, the drones at work with their American Idol and Survivor rehashes. I try to be patient. But dang, WHO CARES?

Im with you on that!

I’m starting a campaign to send “Don’t Tread On Me” flags to CBS.

So 33MM, are you thinking real flags or reasonable facsimiles? 'cause I’ve got a nice color printer at work, I’m sure they won’t mind.

So, what is the deal with Hawkins’ man purse? And even with his man purse obsession, he’s still AWESOME. And I think we all learned our lesson, don’t frak with the Green family.

Also just found out the show is freely available with or with out commentary at:

Hey, if Jack Bauer can carry a manpurse, why not Robert Hawkins?

Don’t be talkin bad bout Hawkin’s manpurse. It’s tactical

That he is! That he is! That man bag has his super-amazing ruggedized laptop. Because of how abbreviated this season is, nothing was done without a reason. I wonder what him leaving the computer behind is going to mean for the season finale.

Also, when Hawkins said that he was coming for John Smith, I was chilled. Lennie James can do more with a cell phone and some open terrain that most actors can do with a team of coaches and a smash hit show.

Oh, just so you know the fans are fighting for another season if not on CBS, then on some other network. (It’s going to have to be one heckuva finale to truly satisfy.) We’ve already begun sending Don’t Tread On Me flags to CBS, because if you’re like me and watch it on through electronic media, you want to be counted by CBS.
