I always wondered what Tattoine’s Jawas and Sand People looked like under their hoods and gauze, respectively. Has answers been revealed in any of the novelizations or tie-in books?

This reminds me of when I was a youngin and my friends and I would play Star Wars. Since we had no knowledge of the EU we would make up stuff. Jawas ended up being the kids of Tusken Raiders. =P
Anyway. I seem to remember hearing the Jawas are rat like.
