Did Boomer plan this the entire time? We never saw what Cavil and Boomer were talking about when they left Ellen alone in that room in the basestar, they could of been planning this the entire time.
I think Boomer and Cavil planned it all out. Hera will either be used as a hostage, or she will be killed as a threat to Cavil’s view of the perfection of machines. No blending allowed. No procreation among the Cylons will tolerated. That’s my guess.
I agree, although it is also possible that Cavil’s plan for Hera is simply to keep her in isolation for the rest of her life (“they will not harm their own” - with about a zillion exceptions, I know). Also, keep in mind that the chances of a Raptor making an unauthorized departure from a fully armed Basestar without a shot being fired at it are pretty remote.
That makes sense. Unless, Hera is indeed some kind of a messiah figure to both the cylons and the humans and somehow changes Cavil or gets him to love her with her cute but slightly creepy self.
Though, that would resemble a real soap opera, so probably not.
My guess is that Cavill will try to get the final five to fix the resurrection capabilities in exchange for Hera.
I did not see Boomer pulling that double-cross and yet it made perfect sense it could happen. Great twist. Man, the Chief must be devastated.
By the way, I thought that was one of the best and most dramatic episode of the series so far. It’s a good omen for the rest of the season.
Nah, I’m pretty sure Cavill would open her up to see how she works and start trying making more of her or making her better (like he would have wanted to be). Whatever he does It would be bad for Hera I’m pretty sure.
Don’t underestimate Cavill evilness, makes Boomer looks like a saint in comparison.
Elen’s intial introduction back into the fleet, in the beginning, certainly suggests that Cavil has operatives in the fleet. Granted, back then, they had spy technology, and I forget whether the initial cylonz had been revealed to the public.
I don’t think they he would kill Hera - otherwise, why not just attack the fleet? (unless he is still after the FF… but yeah).
I like this idea (though I do NOT want Cavil getting resurrection back), it definitely could be since in the preview
It looks like they’re putting Anders in a hybrid tub…
I would agree. It just seems strange that Boomer didn’t want the Chief to come along. There’s something missing. Maybe Cavil intends to use Tyrol’s guilt against him and, through him, the rest of the FF.
That spoiler probably crossed your mind as a possibility - given his “pronouncements”.
Yes, I agree with everything above.
