Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Trailer Online!

Right, but I’ve never seen them in my various US locations before midnight. And the lack of publicity kind of makes me suspicious…

… plus, we totally would have planned the evening around it had we known.

I saw it last night…Frakkin aliens -_-

You know, it probably makes perfect sense to him. He probably thinks he’s just mining more of his original source material, the cliff-hanger serials. What he doesn’t seem to realize is that what they made transcended that material and was much more believable.

And even if the explorer/adventurers in the serials discovered lost civilizations, lands that time forgot, subterranean races and mystical artifacts I don’t recall them mixing up their genres so much that they bumped into spacemen. (but who knows… I wouldn’t put it past’em)

The problem is that Indy is basically an everyman rooted in the everyday (not a superhero) who is reluctantly thrown into having to deal with the unknown.
Transplanting him into realms so fantastic would probably negate our ability to relate to him.

Oh yeah, they went there.

saw the midnight showing last night.

i don’t care what anyone else says about
the aliens
or general silliness of the flick, i frakkin loved this movie.

that is all.

I got to see this today and I just loved to get to see an Indiana Jones movie in a big theater, that was awesome. And regarding the aliens, I also don’t care what others say, why should it be a “better” adventure to go search for a Christian artefact as he did in previous movies.
