As of June 26th, this year, it is now okay to think what you were thinking already about the character Sam on iCarly. (This is the day before my birthday!)
That she’s annoying? I have to wait that long?
Hahaha! My boys watch this show, and it makes me want to die. It is so obnoxious. I think they just like Miranda Cosgrove. 
That would be my guess.
Ms. Cosgrove is a beautiful young lady whom I would have easily crushed on if I were 12 years younger. Jeanette McCurddy would be attractive if I didn’t constantly see her doing so many mean-spirited things on the show (my 7-year-old son is curiously attracted to the show for no apparent reason). It’s just one of those things where I see too much of the character in the person that I have a natural bias to overcome. Now can they end the show ASAP and bury the prints before a new generation is infected?

We watch P&F, Kids Next Door, The Troop is campy but fun, Sarah Jane Chronicles (if only US TV would be so inventive), Victorious is actually a watchable iCarly (think if Fame were a tween sitcom), The Avengers is good for boys, and I’ve just started my boy on SG-1 and he’s having a blast.
Oh, and, the cartoon version of Last Airbender.
