You home has become a Shipyard! You should have Solai or Pike change your forum-title to Fleet Commander.
Or, fleet admiral in this case.
That would be amazing.
Saw this on my DVR. This could (eventually) save you some money on lego pieces. It’s even made of the same material. (:

While that is very cool, I still think the robots at Lego can pump out faster and cheaper Lego. That would be perfect for when I lose a brick that I really really need tho.
Last night I decided to try and see how far I could get with the parts I already got for my Shuttle. As it turned out so many times before, not far. I did manage to build the complete display stand, which looks very nice:
This is how far I got with the cockpit, about 80% done:
The two identical parts in the middle are the frames for the gearwork which will raise and lower the wings. The chunk on the right is part of the nose and outser shell of the cockpit area. The part on the left is a section that will hold the top wing in place.
The only other section I got 100% completed is the landing gear assembly:
So now I am as far as I can progress until I get more parts. Hoping I get some stuff in the mail today. On the brighter side, I purchased about 200 lbs of mixed Lego from an ad on Craigslist for $75. I’ve already listed and sold about $150 worth of parts and still have about another 100 lbs of parts to sort and list for sale. I actually grabbed some of the parts I was waiting for from this assortment to get as far as I did with the shuttle. Hoping to make some more in sales so I can get the parts I need for my Cathedral project.
As practice for my Cathedral, I also started parting out this project…
Will this be one of your next projects??

OMFG! adding that to my build list!
Sorry I haven’t been here for a while. I finished the shuttle, still have to post pics. Been very busy. more later.
Started my second Millennium Falcon. This one will be almost completely black with dark red and dark blue highlighting. Off to a great start. More pictures at my blogger blog thingy.
You guys are awesome
Got a bunch more work done on the modified stealth Millennium Falcon. Check out the step by step picture on my blog by clicking the link in my sig. Here’s what we’re up to so far…
Very proud of this radar thingy I made. I didn’t want to get a huge black dish like the original falcon. I figured the Empire would have something a little more advanced for radar. Here is the (almost) finished piece.
Sweet. That radar dish is certainly more suited to the Empire’s style if you think about the look of their TIE fleets.
This could actually become a real Lego set!
Lego is considering new sets by internet popularity. All you need to do is go to: http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/13512 and support my project. If I get 10,000 supporters there us a good chance it will become an actual Lego set! You will need to register (simple name, age, email). Spread the word however you can. Thanks!
There are many other great Lego projects there. Lots of Star Wars, BSG, Firefly. Check it out. If my idea becomes an actual set, I will become rich by receiving 1% of the profit from sales!
