Howl's Moving Castle Frak Party 1/4 @ 2 PM ET

I don’t see any point in living if I can’t be beautiful!!! :frowning:

Howl’s bedroom is how I pictured the wand shop in Harry Potter when reading the books. In the movies it looked different.

It’s one of those, moral of the story things. Sophie’s lesson to be learned.

I love moments like that.

When Grandma Sophie says, “If I didn’t have to worry about you I would have clobbered her.”

It’s a great device to use. Have the hero hold off on moving forward.

Grandma Spohie just did the Arsenio Woot arm movement rooting on the Witch.

Spoiler alert: http://www.geocities.com/cinemorgue2/justinlong.html

That was a cool idea. The light attacks the Witch using the shadows.

Are you repeating or agreeing?

I’ve never read or watched any Potter. Much to Keara’s chagrin.

Yuck. With such wonderful acting ability, how’d he get stuck doing Mac commercials?

Waiting for Microsoft Windows Bill Gates commercial comment

Perhaps Telepathy, our thoughts are in stereo.

Oh, that’s right. I’d forgotten that you dislike horror movies.

My mind to your mind, your mind to my mind…

I don’t know. When they’re taken as comedies they’re ok. I liked ‘Fido’ and ‘Shaun of the Dead’. I just don’t get into stuff like ‘Saw’.

I really liked the faded out effect when Sophie and Howl seperated on the flying machine.

You need to get on that.

Soooo, what’s making her change from young to old to young again?

I enjoyed Saw. It was more complex than just “torture porn”. Actually had a moral to it, twisted though it was.

You might enjoy Zombie Strippers. I laughed my sorrybarb off.

Again we are of one mind.

Both the movies and books are fun. I would recommend reading the books first. I feel the same way about LotRs. The books first.
