A few months ago a good friend ran a crowdfunding campaign on IndieGoGo to fund a web series he wanted to shoot. The funding for the series never reached the threshold, so he ran a new one to fund a trailer! He’s writer/director/producer that left his last production company to make the kind of stuff that he wants to make, albeit on a wee-bit smaller budget.
Jacked! is a mix of Tron (guy stuck in a VR) and White Dwarf (britcom humour + a loveable but not too bright protagonist). Since it’s funny & sic-fi, I thought it would make a decent little post here. (Warning: I didn’t post it in the NSFW thread as it’s pretty darned clean, but it does contain the words “Penis”, “Porn” and “Vagina”, but in non-sexual situations.)
