I love the show. I recently did a complete rewatch in preparation for the new season. It has to be watched in order though, there are some great references to past events. It’s such an easy show to watch. It’s one of those that can suck you in to ‘one more episode’ syndrome. By the way, October 13th is International Suit Up Day. Definitely a holiday for fans of this show.
A lot of Whedon actors have made appearences in this show. NPH and Alyson Hannigan are the obvious ones. Alexis Denisof, Morena Baccharin and Amy Acker are the main ones that spring to mind, but there are lots more. I’d love a Nathan Fillion or Felicia Day appearance. But those two are probably way to busy.

Yes, but given that Ted is easily the least interesting of the core characters, I’ll live, even if I don’t like the mom.
Haven’t watched any of the most recent season, as HIMYM is one of my DVD marathon shows with 2 friends. We get together, cook, and watch 3 hours once a week until we finish each season. Have thoroughly enjoyed the first 5 (or is it 6?) seasons, though!
