How does this story end..

Forget the flashbacks… There is a thread already for that…

We have our end game… There is a black hole and only one area where the Old Girl can jump in and it’s right where the guns are going to be pointed at…

How the frak will they save Hera if they can’t even survive the jump in?
How the frak do they jump away once they save Hera?

Will they save Hera or will they all die in the area of space?

How does this story end?

I’m not sure if this is awesome and cool or stupid and obvious, but what if Galactica fell into the black hole and came out the other end brand spanking new?

That would serve to explain Kara’s Viper.

Thus maybe that is what happens…

What if they go through come out brand new and time has jumped?

Unbenounst to all the other parties. The Andromeda Ascendant is slowly pulling out of the time dilation portion of said black hole. Let the fireworks begin.

That was all I kept thinking when they showed where the colony was.

Heck Razor had the XO of the Pegasus the same person that was Andromeda’s XO in the Pilot. Talk about the cycle continuing.

Yeah!! I hit 100 before the END.

Maybe they find a way to nudge the Colony out of its safe orbit and into the black hole. I certainly don’t see them going up against it and its Basestars and winning. 'Course, they did survive New Caprica.

Is anyone else wondering whether Hera and little Gaius are actually Adam and Eve?

I hope not…

That would be funny… even fitting given the quality of season 4.5.

Here is a post someone did on a different topic that fits well this thread.

would provide an answer to Kara’s viper, yes, but also what the maelstrom she keeps painting is–and why when she passed through it she made it to earth long enough to crash.

So Galactica won’t come back new, but she’ll pass through back to earth, like Kara did.

And what does this mean: Starbuck says to Apollo, as he’s yelling to her to pull up, Starbuck says, “It’s ok Lee, they’re waiting for me.”

Who’s “they”?

The voices in her head. Take it from someone who knows. “They” like to be called “they”.

Well, will the “they” please step forward and introduce yourselves.

Since RDM has said is a couple of interviews that he was having trouble with the plot in the finale, and “its about the characters stupid” if the Characters need Galactica to survive Galactica will survive. But here is my guess…

the Raiders and the “larry’s” will not Fight the people that brought back the FF. so it is just the Skin jobs against rescue team, without resurection. I think the fight will be cool but quick. and we will get on with the 'Characters"

I suspect we will get one more ‘info dump’ from Cavil to explain some of the things, but more answers will come from “the plan”

I think Galactica will survive the rescue and the last jump will be to an uninhabited “our Earth”. and we are the result of the broken cycle!

I think Galactica will survive the rescue and the last jump will be to an uninhabited “our Earth”. and we are the result of the broken cycle!

Or something like that. Except we would not be the result of the broken cycle. “We” ultimately will go down the path creating artificial life.

What “we” avoid is Earth becoming a new Kobol, where the surviving humans are subjugated to the skinjob “gods”. That too would be a perpetuation of the cycle.

All of which, are guesses, of course.

Well i have always thought we were part of a Broken something.
in the last Frakin’ special. we know that Adama files the viper off the ship as the last man off the ship. could be into the battle but it could mean Galactica survives.
and I hope we get a chance to see Baltar enjoying being a farmer…and that the knowlege he got from his DAD ended up saving humanity.

i always thought she said “he’s waiting for me”… meaning probably head leoben.

Yah, thatt’s what I thought, but recently I re-watched that episode, Maelstrom, and listened carefully, and again with subtitles, and Starbuck says, “They’re waiting for me.”

Yeah, but you gotta remember that CC transcribers may not have the script.

That said, I have to go with “they” if only because we just saw her with a couple ‘head people.’

I keep thinking, this has got to be important. I’ll probably find out, it isn’t at all, and that I’ve been burning brain cells trying to work it out. Seems like a frequently exercise for me with BSG. And I just love it.
