Watch the DVD on my 34’ TV and type on my Mac PowerBook (that’s the best),
or watch the DVD on my laptop with earphones and type.
That’s all part of the fun. It’s the good ouch.
I frak using the tv/dvd and my laptop. I like it to keep it simple.
I missed this thread somehow.
I frak in the living/great room. I’ll watch the show on the 52" Sony Bravia HD LCD which is wall mounted at an approx heighth of 5’6’ to the screen’s center. If I can get away with it, the 6.1 surr sound gets engaged. If not, the TV speakers suffice. I have a big L shaped couch facing the TV. I’ll sit there with my laptop (with wi-fi) on the coffee table in front of me. I put casters on the table, so I can swing it out of my way if I need to get up and simulate deadly hand to hand combat or assist in a strafing run of enemy ships. There’s another couch side table to my right which has the remote control(s), and when frakking, usually a rum and coke. Pants are normally flannel PJ variety, unless another frakker calls me out, and then pantsless mode may be initiated.
Since Galactica’s end sigh I’ve hooked up a Dell desktop to the the TV as well, based on a cool idea from Chuck, so Hulu, You Tube, or anything from the web can be shown on the TV as well. The XBox360 normally handles the DVD playing as well as the Netflix movies and shows.
