True. OTOH, there are events in my life that I wouldn’t want to change. Hard to determine how things would play out if I change things too much.
You take your piggy bank, get on a bus, and find Bill Gates or Steve Jobs.
I’ve often thought about that. I don’t have to be great innovator. I just need to get in on the ground floor with people who are. Support them when no one else takes them seriously. 
Or go to the future. An utterly ridiculous future based around Lou. 
You’ve already lived that life. I hear ya, though. IMO, time travel changes everything. Yet, in every story folks try and get back or some resemblance of what was. Frak it! Change as much as you can and live with those consequences. You’ve already made the other choices for good or for bad.

The typical script would involve the Revenge of Blaine. I say we bring more of the backstory about Chevy’s character. He is obviously from the future. Have him say something like, “You changed your perceptions of the time around you. This isn’t reality. Your old life wasn’t reality either.” Have them travel through multiple time lines. Webber-universe, Jacob-verse, etc.
You know, you’re right. A lot of the things I wouldn’t want to change revolve around lessons I’ve learned (which I’ve already learned and wouldn’t have to again) and people I’ve known (I know where and when they’ll be if I want to meet them again).
