There is no finer thing on this planet than a real Chicago style hot dog. A Vienna Beef red hot, poppy seed bun, bright green pickle relish, yellow mustard, sport peppers, two tomato wedges, two cucumber slices and sprinkled with celery salt. Heaven on Earth.
All i have to say is the hot dog is really the acrobatic champion hands down. it can do about anything you like. nachos just kinda sit there. and stare at you praying that death come quickly. you know like a baby seal.
but the hot will do tricks as you try to eat it. it will deep fry covered in corn batter or not. you can smother or cover it with toppings of many kinds. maybe even a coney dog? perfect in its simpel yet varried texture with a fine blend.
hot dogs are like wine. nachos are more aking to beer. they both get you drunk but one tastes kinda crappy.
so i vote for the hot dog. a true american invention made of anything that aint nailed down. then put on a bun and covered with things that maybe shouldnt have been pryed up from the floor boards
