Heros discussion for 12/3 episode (spoilers)

Adam Kensei is SO coming back. Completely insane and hellbent on inhuman vengeance.

From your keyboard to Tim Kring’s ears, dfx. What an awesome character! I like him much better than Sylar, whose arc I’ve never entirely bought into (I don’t know why, though). But you know what I found really fascinating about Adam’s arc at the end? The fact that Peter was acting as a bad guy. I think that has a lot of potential for some great storytelling.

I was really hoping that Cheerleader’s dad would somehow be mind-wiped, and he’d wind up hunting her. Which would be evil and bad. But good TV.

And Sylar, yeah, once again, agreed. I always think it’s a bad sign when a show gets rid of a character, then brings them back. Like Janice on the Sopranos. Seems like a sign that the well’s running dry.

But, all in all, I think the season ended better than it started. Looking forward to more. I hope they can hold out on bringing Adam back until we’ve forgotten about him, and it’s a nice surprise.

I had hoped HRG/Noah would end up truly dead, though his reaction to being revived with Claire’s blood was priceless (and a nice echo of Claire’s reaction back when she woke up on a coroner’s table, mid-autopsy). I bought into that.

I’m curious to see what happens with “volume 3,” whether that’s season 2.5 or 3. And I agree, things picked up at the end, but I had no doubt that it would happen, since season one worked similarly.

I don’t know Armando, ask the WGA.

I hope that Vol. 3 will be something entirely original instead of going into an apocalyptic version of New York and then they have to save New York again.

It’s probably best to remember that no one is ever truly “dead” when you have a character with the capacity for time travel (or 3, if you include Peter and Sylar).

Also, we never do see Nikki’s body.

I’d wager that Nathan’s assassin was HRG, as has been put forth earlier in the thread. At least, that was my initial assumption upon seeing the retreating figure.

As for Sark…er…Adam…I thought the buried alive bit was priceless. How better to breed venomous hatred and a true nemesis for Hiro than that?

I think the ball’s on the AMTP’s (or whatever the acronym is) court right now.
