Speaking of Serenity, the latest news on the new comic miniseries is out. It’s a prequel to the movie and supposedly sheds a little light on Book’s past. It’s scheduled for mid-March.
Y’know, is it just me getting older, or more sophisticated? I don’t want this stuff spelled out. (Not that I know they’re going to do that, exactly, in this case. Just afraid that they are.)

also if anyone can help, I know that Ender’s Game was a book club read, and I was looking for a copy on amazon and it looks like it is a series. Is the first book a stand alone?, or do I have to order all of the books?
The first was a standalone. The rest was built on that.
I agree. I prefer the mystery. I think we’ve gotten enough clues in the past that he was with the Alliance in some capacity.
