Maybe. Seems like welsh, scots and Irish are all sterotyped a bit is this play.
I’m not commenting, but Shakespeare did a lot of that
remember–“altogether directed by an irishman”?
every subject’s duty is the kings; but every subject’s soul’s his own
I think Braunagh was only 26 years old when he prodeced, directed and starred in this.
I love this movie
Original Keep It Real
I love this soliliquy —I used to have it memorized
“The Tide of Pomp that beats upon the high shores of this world”
I think every leader should be required to recite it daily
He shouldn’t stay up all night. He should rest for the battle.
as if the french didn’t suck enough–slicing up their horses to make them bleed on the enemy
When I first saw this movie I actuallty did not know that the English won this battle.
So it was a cool surprise in the movie.
Here it comes THE BEST SCENE “What’s He that wishes so!!”
he said “passport”
What a rousing speech!! I’m ready to go out and start a bar fight.
I’ve got headphones on so I’m cranking up the VOLUME!!
cue the goosebumps
Harry the King, Warick and Glousrter, Bedford and Exeter …
who else was reminded of this speech when Bill Pullman rallied the troops in Independence Day?
My, lord the french are bravely in the battle set, and will with all expedience march upon us!!
