Help for a non-Trekkie

I’m in the revision process of my novel right now and have a C-list , former child star actress character I’d like to place in a STNG two-episode guest spot. It’s only a one sentence reference of the character’s resume, but I want it to be accurate. Given her age and the the time frame of the book STNG is the best fit.

What I need is for her to play a female alien who is pretty much covered in makeup. So much, that unless someone is a really avid fan of STNG or my character , they wouldn’t really be able to recognize her.

I need to know the correct spelling of the alien and any characteristics. I don’t necessarily need a real episode, but I do need a real Trek alien, if that makes sense. A photo would be nice too. The more I know about the type of alien, the more I can possibly beef up the scene.

I’d appreciate any and all help on this. If you have more questions or other info, feel free to PM me.

Thanks everyone!

Also, what is the correct way to write out STNG? Is there a dash or a colon?

ST:TNG is the way I think is correct. And to countinue the thot: ST:TOS, ST:DS9, ST:VOY and ST:ENT

And I’ll think about the other thing. Maybe those blue guys with the ridge the goes down the middle of their body…

I’m not entirely sure this is what you are looking for but here goes.

There was character called Sarjenka from the episode ‘Pen Pals’ played by actress Nikki Cox.

Hope this helps.

I think you mean ST:DS9. :stuck_out_tongue:

Bolians.

talos, get out of my head!!!

I couldn’t believe it was Nikki Cox. Dang, that girl grew up!

is it just me, or is gravity not this girl’s friend?

Not just up.

Is it anyone’s?

Yes!! We are on the same wavelength Mr. Pretty Hair. I think I may need to hire you as my lovely assistant

IF YOU KNOW WHAT HE MEANS!!

Yikes… now this explains what happened to Nikki Cox… she’s reverting back to her bolien roots.

Just say NO to plastic surgery…

Do I have to wear a sequined bodysuit?

I’m really not sure I do. Is he going to saw me in half?

I haven’t decide that yet. Do you have nice legs?

I…well, maybe. Only as punishment maybe.
No, your main responsibilty will be to finish my thots and sentences for me when I can’t remember something.
So when I say “Remember that scene in one of the Star Trek series-es when there was this alien that the Captain couldn’t communicate with expect by story metaphors…” and then you say ________.

eh, I’ve seen better.

I’ve seen worse, too, BTW.

Darmok and Jalaad, at Tanagra?

Excellent. You’re hired–pending background check, references and salary negotiation (how does zilch sound to you? There’s we got that out the way).

I’m not really sure I can provide any references. It’s always best not to leave any witnesses.

Hey thanks guys, but are there any other aliens, with, well I’ll be frank here, more cleavage showing? Do I need to branch out to ST:DS9? Anything during the 90’s would do. My character did pose for Playboy, so she’s got range, if you know what I mean!

Haha, I should have read what this thread was all about before adding my mustard to the discussion (German proverb )

Anyway, how about “Minuet” - she was a hologram in the ST:TNG episode “1100100” - a kind of classy kind of girl:

If you need something for a girl with huge cleavage, I would suggest any of the Amazon-type of planets, populated by scantily-clad women, like in “Code of Honor”

I concur with Beaver’s (GR’s) suggestions above.

Dawn, this sounds like a fantastic premise for a funny scene.
