I wouldn’t have mind an updated theme like they did with the latest Knight Rider series theme. But, I didn’t watch the original series.
Sounds retro as is, which could be what they were going for.

Nah. Too old. Tom Selleck was only 35 in the original, and I always imagined that Magnum was younger than that.
