Just a forewarning. Just as Sean as his buttons with bullies and abuse of dogs, one of mine is a character who tells the truth, but is not believed or have forces actively proving him/her a liar out of ignorance. This is different from say an action movie along that theme because in an action movie, the protagonist is actively his innocence/truth.
So, please forgive me if I seem out of character this frak.
Your point is actually my biggest problem with the movie. The fact that it was completely different in the book doesn’t help.
