Ps Canada rules. 
What is Canada Day like in Canada? Is it like the Fourth in the US (BBQ and Fireworks?) Because I always pictured it being like a normal day, except everyone greets each other with, “Happy Canada Day, eh?”
Pretty much that first thing. BBQ, fireworks, big party, concerts, here in Edmonton were having community mixers, in parks, generally 4th of July kind of stuff i’d imagine.

It depend of the province. In Quebec we use the day off to move 
and that’s pretty much it. In Montreal we have an international firework contest so there is firework every week end during summer, let’s just say it’s not special anymore. They do an outdoor show downtown but it’s not a big event.
The week before we have the St-John (Quebec Holiday) most of the BBQ and beer drinking his done that day.
Same as July 4th in the US: The average person celebrates having a day off.
