So I got a chance to see it this weekend. I only knew what the trailers showed me and truthfully, I wasn’t expecting much. I thought it would be some cool special effects and a trite take on the super hero genre.

Holy crap was I wrong. I think this is one of the most original takes I have seen in the super hero genre. The effects were good but not really over done. The story is what the movie was about and I didn’t want it to ever end.

I totally agree. Hancock went in totally unexpected (great) places. There was a depth to this story that kept me hooked the entire time. I was amazed by how central to the storyline Charlize Theron’s character was even though she was barely in the promos. The special effects were great but I love how this movie was not all about the effects. Plus, I’m a big Will Smith and Jason Bateman fan and they were both awesome.
