I will start a thread on this (or find the one I made years ago on subject) but as Chuck correctly stated my theory goes like this:

Everyone loves Firefly. Everyone loves every episode of Firefly for different reasons. However, at the end of the day when you ask someone what is their favorite Firefly episode they will fall into one of two camps:

Camp A:
Shindig
Our Mrs. Reynolds
Jaynestown
Trash

Camp B:
Out of Gas
Objects in Space

Both camps will profess their love for all the other episodes but at the end of the day if they had to choose one episode to watch over and over they will fall into one of these two areas.

I’m the similar to DP, except I loved Objects in Space, but thought Out of Gas was only Ok.

My favorites are Objects in Space, Jaynestown, and War Stories.

Because New Wave Hookers is the best pr*n title ever.

As for the quality of my impression, in my defense, it sounds much better in my head. :wink:

Srsly dudes, Venture Brothers. We’re in a break right now, it’s a great time to get up to speed. Suggestion: Put a call out for the community to put together an Ultimate Get Up To Speed sequence of episodes that’s all high notes and can bring people onboard without requiring that they sit down and watch 17 hours of awesome.

I thought it was pretty darn good! I have a different suggestion however. Masked gunmen kidnap every GWC listener and gift them with every delicious minute of Venture Bros. goodness before returning them to their families. Good idea right?

I was surprised to hear that we apparently find out what Shepherd Book’s identity is in the show. . .then I look it up online and we don’t? Ugh! I really want to at least know what the host’s theories are, who he is has always been one of the great unanswered questions of the show for me.

Well, combine his Alliance ID in Safe with some of his comments in Serenity (movie, not episode), and you have the core of a very common theory.

I just started S1 (actually halfway through) and can get only one or two eps in per day, so give me a couple weeks.
