Speaking of David Hewlett (ie. the actor who plays Rodney McKay), if anyone here is fans of Stargate and oddball humor movies, David Hewlett wrote and directed a rather brilliant movie mostly populated by Stargate actors. It’s entitled A Dog’s Breakfast and it’s funny as hell (and also, within it, contains a parody/homage-to Stargate).

I’ve watched that movie about one year ago, and for the low production costs it had, it has resulted in a very hilarious movie.
Had to laugh many times, especially when David Hewlett gets scared.
I’m very behind on the podcasts, so I haven’t listened to this one yet. But I scored a DVD of SG Atlantis Rising for $3.99. Is this the beginning of the Atlantis series? I hope so, that one seems easier to catch up on than 10 years of SG1.
It helps to watch the first seven years of SG1 to more appreciate Atlantis.
Yes, Rising is the pilot. Being familiar with SG 1 would help, but I got into Atlantis before I started watching SG 1
