That a FF type Cylon and a S7 type Cylon could conceive a child indicates that the FF types can conceive with each other. (The idea being that it is the S7 types have “issues” when it comes to “natural” conception.) Although I know that we do not have conclusive evidence of this. However, if the theory that we here on Earth are FF type Cylons is correct, well you get the drift.
Maybe, like Hank Hill, Tyrol has a narrow urethra?
When Miniseries 6’s back glowed, it didn’t mean she was conceiving, IYKWIM…

Hmm. Anyone else thinking the pilots are dead? BBQ Sharon was already out of the restraints when Gaeta woke, so the opportunity may have been there.
Theory: The fleet that she found is Cavil’s, not the RTF. Her mission is to capture Gaeta for Cavil’s nefarious purposes…maybe because he knows G is the Final and can use him to make a crushing blow.
The only person I saw that has total free will and no restrains (except when captured) is this guy and its not good
I keep going back and forth on what’s going on there as well. Gaeta is still thinking about Hoshi at the beginning of the 'sode–clips of Hoshi from earlier 'sodes and the lingering hug in “Revelations” make up a good chunk of Gaeta’s dream/reverie–so it seems like he’s trying to be a decent, loyal guy. But going with the “New Caprica needs to stay in the past” idea, it may be that Gaeta kissed Sharon to help her project and work past the pain of shoving the fiber optic cable in her arm, since she intimated she was trying to project their past relationship. That would mirror how in the New Caprica flashback, he kissed Sharon to comfort her and calm her down when she was so disappointed and upset that she couldn’t save everyone on the list. It’s hard to tell. I don’t get the feeling that Gaeta is playing either Hoshi or Sharon, but I do get the feeling he’s not sure that what he’s doing with Sharon is a great idea.
I don’t really see gaeta as the manipulative guy even now. I don’t think he will abuse (the trust or love) of someone even a cylon(no ZZ). He walked a straight line before and I still think he’s walking it straight. He would be justified to send the world to hell for all that happened to him but I still think he’s greater than that.
Else he would have shot Anders, before or even more knowing he’s a cylon. He could become a little bit more selfish since every time he tries to help he gets almost air locked or shot. But I don’t think he would play people like that. But its depending on his personal view about cylon(ZZZZzzz) if he believe he’s just manipulating a machine he may have done it to the six.
But I believe in Gaeta. (to stay in the dark knight theme

A little more than two weeks to go, and Chuck is phoning it in, Gaeta has become a main character, and we have met a new 8. At least Racetrack is still around. (If something happens to her in these sodes I will start watching Oprah instead.
Err, where are people getting these Jane Espenson commentaries? I’ve been looking around and for some reason (I might just be blind) I can’t seem to find them, which kills me since I’m a total commentary junkie. Edit: aha, they’re on the Sci-Fi channel page itself, I just hadn’t seen them before. Wellll that’s useless for me, since even though I’m an American citizen and living in a country with a free trade treaty I’m not allowed to watch them. Great. Once again the hate side of my love/hate relationship with the Sci-Fi channel pops up.
As far as free will goes, fun and interesting discussion, although I’ve never bought the idea of free will (seems to me the three possibilities for events are causality, random chance or something supernatural, and of those three I only buy that there’s causality in the universe). But of course, like most of these types of questions (such as the existence of god(s)), BSG might posit an entirely different answer for its own universe. The entire “all this has happened before, and all this will happen again” seems to imply predestination, for example.
OMFG, if I have to see that stupid Rise of the Lycon commercial one more time I’m going to kill myself…but worth it for more Gaeta love drama. I’m not sure why I feel this way over other limited-emotional-capacity-cylons, but the Sharons just seem pathetic to me. Whereas Six seems to derive power, clarity, and focus from all of her sexual encounters, the 8’s just seem clingy and needy, like that sad girlfriend we’ve all known who MUST have a man in her life…
There’s clearly more to it, but I’m have trouble NOT reading the kiss as – partially – the Cylon Kiss of Death.
In honor of the original game and our good pal Larry, I propose that any BSG clue set always include a lead pipe regardless of if we actually see one or not.
