If this is your first time listening to GWC, you might want to jump back and start with #136 (if you’re a BSGer looking for webisode discussion) or #134 (for the last ‘cast of our X-Men arc). Why? This is our annual holiday podcast where we kick back and shoot the bull with no topic in mind. Originally recorded live on December 26, 2008, we’re joined by numerous GWC listeners for a good ‘ole fashioned bull-fest
The direct download doesn’t appear to be working, for me anyway. It just sayst the page has be re directed and it keeps getting re directed to the same page.
Ok, it is now. Maybe it was a problem on my end.
This is an intermittent problem from LibSyn, our podcast host. It’s happened on and off today. Hopefully they’ll have (and keep!) it resolved soon.
Working fine down here in Katrinaville.
FYI - My greatest present is the deluxe MST3K DVD set - which comes with a small statue of Crow T. Robot! Now on my desk next to my Foghorn Leghorn figure (never forget his great line - “Somethin’ peculiar about a boy who don’t like to play ball”) and Blade Runner origami unicorn.
No pants were harmed (or worn) in the making of this podcast!! :D:cool:
Again, CHuck, Audra, Sean…thanks for setting this up. It was great talking to you guys and the rest of the GWCers!
Had a positively awesome time listening and calling in!
All the while my 6 yr old kept kicking my butt at Crazy 8s!
hmm… what does that mean- crazy 8s!?
Our mean Britneyland/ Louisiana? Old Timer neva, NEVER fails to crack me up!
This is awesome! WHen I just joined in mid-july, I’d been downloading all the previous podcasts; starting from #01. Was there a live one at the end of last year? I can’t remember :o
Sorry Guys,
The download is still not working for me. When I try, it says “The HTTP redirect request failed”. I think something is up with the process from where I am trying to download. I hope it gets fixed soon! GWC is not quite getting to all the masses.
Ethan
LOL! The revolution will be pantsless!
I need that to be my new ringtone
Successful download!
It works for me now . . .
Thanks . . . whomever or whatever. . . .
-Ethan
I really enjoyed the podcast, and I’m dying of curiosity. What was going on in that chat room that people kept ending up pantsless? Was there a strip poker game going on?
When Chuck said “John Cleese would be funny cutting off his own hand”, I thought about the Black Knight…“It’s only a flesh wound”.
WTF? I’m trying like crazy and still can’t get on this talkfoot thingy!
Yep - three below above sea level and still with our hands out for mo’ money.
I can arrange that, after I get rid of this cold !
Thanks to the GWC Crew for another seriously fun night…almost 4 hours on my telephone between the Podcast and the After Frakk Pants Retrieval Party after the recording stopped. I only wish the text chats could be saved as well, just a hyperactive nonstop stream of conciousness hilarity. At one point we had 28 Alpacas all chatting each other up at once. The “Chuck=God” section alone made the whole thing worth it!
Now who’s idea was it to make it pantless? Was it Thot, or maybe 'Talos??
I always get those two mixed up…
Good times, people. Goooood times!
hey,
just wondering. How does one listen to the live!cast while it is still live? It is like internet radio?
Once you set yourself up there you can listen live and also text chat with the others who have signed in as well. If you’re just listening you miss out on a big part of the experience, imho. If you’ve set up an account, (free), you can call in and talk live with the Crew, too, either by phone or USB mic.
OOH! I want one too!

It was good times! I’m glad I got to be there for the majority of it. You guys never fail to make me laugh.
