I don’t know where to post this, but a couple podcasts ago, Audra asked “Do you get your free audio book from Audible.com only once?”
Well, I don’t know about you guys be it seems like I’m getting an email from Audible each month saying “Your New Credits With Recommendations Are Here” and I get 1-book credit on my account (just got one now in fact). This is pretty cool, but is this the way it’s supposed to work?
if you don’t unsubscribe, they’re supposed to start billing you. then you get credits each month–at least that’s how I understood it. check with bkitty. she’s the Audible.com maven
Ahhh…I think I figured it out. I’m paying $14.95 per month to be a Gold Audible Member. And that gives me 1 audio credits each month.
Amd it says I a save 30% on all audiobooks and programs not purchased with audio credits.
Wow. And I also get a complimentary subscription to the digital audio version of The New York Times or The Wall Street Journal.
Boy, I’m an idiot. I guess I should read that info when I subscribed. I’m totally gonna stay a subscriber. This is a deal deal. And I listen to around one audio book per month anyway. So this is perfect for me.
I think there was a mention of X-Men novels. Ages ago I came across a book, it was called Planet X I think. It’s a cross over between X-Men and Star Trek: TNG. I just had to buy it. I haven’t read it yet, I can only imagine it’s awful. But still it shows there are at least some X-Men novels.
