They sure do spend a lot of a short segment showing us Gaeta’s artificial leg. Here are societies with highly advanced space travel technology - both human and Cylon. Within the last century the humans had developed advanced artificial life. The toasters are advanced artificial life - never mind whatever the S7 and F5 are. And the best technology they come up with has Gaeta clomping around on a prosthesis that looks like Ahab’s leg of bone - with a shoe on it. Long John Silver ambulated better than this guy. What’s that about? Are they trying to “tell” us something? (No way is the FC Gaeta. No need for redemption. And other reasons to be found in the sands of ancient GWC posts.)

I see a “roe”… similar to Ro. a good start id say to the webisodes. i just feel that the events from Revelations were ignored too much. that tigh is a cylon or where the fleet is. i’m sure we’ll get these answers in the real episodes, but i felt like i was watching content out of order.
i would also like to say that at 12pm, i convinced my friend to let me borrow his laptop for 3 minutes before class so i could catch the webisode, and lo and behold… it never appeared. so that made me very wahh! and blah. and as of now i dont think the new “clue” in the you will know the truth thing is up yet either.

One Sharon (in regular clothes) is nervous/timid and very aware of Gaeta, the other Sharon (in Cylon flight suit) either has a very bad headache or is pissed off about something.
The spinee ship is the Space Park. When they were nearing it the talk with control gave them their vector (? not sure) for approach and the pilot repeated it and stated ETA to the Zephyr was 15 minutes. So the spinee ship is not the Zephyr.
Sadly, no, I don’t know anything more. That guess about Eight knowing Gaeta is just a gut feeling, judging from the way she looks at him very intently and the other one barely seems to register his existence, and the part about Hoshi being really happy to see Gaeta was just wishful thinking, 'cause the two of them were quite sweet.
I have a rather odd theory about sexuality in Colonial society with very little evidence to back it up, but that’s never stopped me before. I don’t think Gaeta and Hoshi were hiding their relationship–just the craaapload of drugs Hoshi nicked for Gaeta–because I don’t think Colonial society necessarily has a “closet” to come out of. A lot of Colonial culture is based on modern North American/Western culture because that’s the touchstone for the largest chunk of the viewership, but the culture also has a healthy dose of Classical Greek influence, too, particularly in religion. From what little I’ve read, the ancient Greeks didn’t really think of people as having sexual orientations, and homosexual (at least between males) and heterosexual relationships were both important parts of the culture. Because the people making the show are obviously immersed in modern Western culture, it’s not surprising that the dominant, modern Western approach to sexuality is the lens we usually see all relationships through, but there’s at least some reason to believe that Colonial culture may not operate from the same set of assumptions a lot of modern Western culture does when it comes to sexuality.

It’s the age old conundrum with BSG, NBTR - could be that, could be a lack of medical supplies and/or doctors, could be…a clue.
