To be honest, I actually don’t remember what ep that Capt. Reynolds quote is from—and it don’t know for sure that Jayne was in charge. I typed it up from a cloudy memory. Help! Help!
Furthermore, I don’t know what ep that Kirk quote is from either—but Kirk said that kind of thing a zillion times.
I remember a similar line from Serenity but it was to Zoe when Mal was going to meet with Inara.
Episode Serenity or Movie Serenity?
I think it’s from the Serenity movie, but I thought it was:
Mal:Zoe, the ship is yours. Remember, if anything happens to me; if you don’t hear from me within the hour; you take this ship and you come and you rescue me!
Zoe: What? And risk my ship?
Mal: I mean it. It’s cold out there, and I don’t want to get left.
I recognize that scene but I think there’s one in the series where it’s Jayne, Mal, and Zoe talking together on the stairs and Thot’s quote comes up
