GWC Podcast #105

The kids wont but will the administrators? I told my class ( I teach high school) at the start of the year that we can all get along an get an education or I can get on my broom. Well it took a minute and a hint but they got the idea that I can turn into a wicked witch if needed. I saw the play Wicked and bought a shirt. My students (mostly 9th graders) were acting up at the end of the year. The shirt said Wicked on it with a witch on a broom. I wore my school jacket over it until I was in my room not being sure of how it would go over. Everyone who saw it thought it was great including the students, teachers, and administrators. The students got the hint.

I am going to have to check out the shirt everyone is talking about. I probably could not get away with it because my students would notice. Hay they are 14-18 years old. Thay may not know it is from BSG but they will notice where the hand is.

Now that I look at it, Larry’s hand does appear to be somewhat strategically placed and ‘cupped’. Nice job, Sean.

All I can say about the shirt after getting mine and trying it on…it’s not going to be acceptable for casual day at work…at least not on me. Bout bust a gut laughing when I looked in the mirror, and it’s even funnier knowing that the hand placement was unintentional.

Mine also looks… pretty funny. It fits great and is comfy but 2 long metal fingers are exceptionally well-placed. I will post a pic at some point-- probs during vacation next week.

Hey everyone

Another newbie member here - I am loving the forum and have been reading constantly for the last week. I’ve been tuning into the podcasts for about a month and am now working my way back through them … am down to cast #93. The podcasts are hilarious and it’s great to hear discussion on every aspect of the show especially points which I’ve missed. I feel like I’m growing to know Audra, Chuck and Sean - must be weird that people all over the world are tuning into you guys! So have finally plucked up the courage and wrote on the forum!

Personally I think Erf is Earth and this isn’t the end of their journey - what kind of geiger counter were they using? Perhaps it’s only alpha radiation…but you ain’t gonna be able to grow crops or drink the water. I love the final scene though - the pan across all our major characters…six reaching out to Tigh - symbolising a joining perhaps of humans and cylons and Tighlons.

Final cylon…hmmm…thinking back to the final supper picture I think D’anna is gonna be there holding Hera (FF). That’s why Helo and Athena are looking across in a pained manner. In the opera house I think it was her D’anna saw - but grown up. I think I’d cry if it were admiral Adama!

So I’m off for a conference tomorrow in Edinburgh and may have internet silence So I have downloaded about 20 more podcasts to my laptop and I look forward to reading more theories when I return.
