Yes it is, and you can subscribe to Emily’s 'cast as well just like any other podcast…just don’t expect it to be quite as…to the point… as the GWC casts !!
Kappa, you’re not the only one. My first thought was Sydney Harbour. Aparently I’m alone on this.
Doesn’t D’Anna’s comment that only 4 of the 5 are in the fleet scream that the 5th is already with them on the basestar?
Yeah, there’s something really weird about the way D’Anna rolled right over Roslin’s question and changed the subject. It makes me think there might be a personal reason why D’Anna doesn’t want the identity of the Fifth known. How could D’Anna know there were only four of the Five in the Fleet if she wasn’t privy to the reason the Fifth wasn’t there? If I were her and didn’t recognize one of the five faces, I would assume or at least entertain the possibility that the Fifth was somebody in the Fleet that I simply hadn’t met before.
D’Anna must know the Fifth, and her actions only make sense if she knows why the Fifth isn’t there. So, it could be that the Fifth is on the baseship, but I can’t figure out what reason she could have for not revealing the Fifth then and especially why she’d threaten to airlock him or her, since if the Fifth is a Colonial on the baseship, the Fifth is either Adama or one of the hostages. However, if D’Anna knows the Fifth is already dead, and possibly D’Anna had a hand in that death, that would explain why she didn’t want to talk about it and also might explain her apology in the Opera House.
Hot Dog, Seelix, Helo, and who knows who else could be the fifth then? Who would be the most shocking out of the hostages then? Seelix would balance out the gender mix which would make her way too logical.
I go with the hypothesis that D’anna is the one who took Tigh’s eye; hence her apology. And I think that Baltar is the 5th, her reaction when she first saw him was so genuine and full of concern. She’s not reveiling him because he already almost died. My question is why doesn’t HE know he’s a cylon (or whoever it is) what stopped him/her from hearing the music like the others?
Something else that bugs me is still that no one in the show has acknoledged Tyrol’s son as being like Hera. You’d think that maybe Tyrol would be feeling out Athena on if there’s anything unusual about her daughter.
If cylons can age, would 6 eventually look like Ellen? Assuming a life of hard drinking and other hard on the body habits.
A lasting side effect of the drugs used on him during the interrogation scene back in the third season?
…Maybe the brig was soundproofed-?

Hera’s special coz Helo’s her dad and she has an 8 for a mom -? Female Cylons don’t have the fully aligned ‘parts’ to conceive and be pregnant (Cottle made a comment about Athena having ‘weird plumbing’ while she was in labor). Cally was a human female, even if she was married to a Cylon male. Also, the ‘special-ness’ would make sense if Helo were also a Final Fiver. I remember an inordinately tall guy in the D’Anna vision when she was at the Temple of Jupiter.

LOL. What a thought.
(fixing a posting error)
so, it looks like Earth That Was really did get all used up.
well, Billy’s not on the fleet anymore . . . .
ROFL - I had the SAME thought!
Hey tesseract!
I don’t have the transcript, but I think Doc Cottle said something to the effect of “all this cylon technology, you’d think they’d upgrade the plumbing.” I took it to mean that Athena has exactly the same complicated system that human women have (at least from what he could tell) and was amazed they hadn’t surpassed its inefficiency, pain, etc. with better “technology.”
Maybe the 5th is one of the children or perhaps their child.
Ah. Because I was thinking that the Cylons had non-functioning reproductive inside parts they thought they didn’t need to use. Since they were cloning anyway, what’s the point of creating babies the ‘human’ way? Obviously the Cylons would have sex, but not for the purpose of propagating the species - they have the Resurrection ships for that. So, Athena getting pregnant and carrying a child to term was incredibly ‘miraculous’ - they simply didn’t think that this was a possibility or even an option.
On the other side of it, have the male Cylons ever gotten anyone pregnant aside from Tyrol (who is from a different ‘kind’ of Cylon breed)? Maybe they’re just shooting blanks-?
Hmmm Helo the cylon? Even more delicious.
But Anders is also very tall. Very, very tall.
What we should really ask is if there were a figure that was half the height of the rest of them. Because that would be Tory. Unless they put her on stilts under those robes.
Yes. Apparently this is not the first time Tim Brazeal has had some shady dealings. Anyone remember TrekUnited?
You mean the infamous V-J Day kiss photo?
Apparently, the sailor was kissing every woman he passed. This nurse slapped him immediately after the picture was taken.
Funny you mention that. My first thought at the end of this episode was “Where Do We Go From Here?” The general desperation of the lyrics matched that scene perfectly:
According to IMDb, Michael Trucco is 6’3".
What we should really ask is if there were a figure that was half the height of the rest of them. Because that would be Tory.
Three were taller, two were shorter. Aaron Douglas & Michael Hogan are both 6’. Rekha Sharma is 5’3½". Short, but not exactly Lilliputian.
Unless they put her on stilts under those robes.
Assuming this photo is actually a production still as it appears to be, the five in the robes were just stand-ins, not the actors themselves, so their individual heights could be irrelevant.
The question is whether or not that was a production still. If it is, then there are some issues of concern. If it isn’t, where did it come from?
If the heights did matter, then this would point to Seelix simply because Jen Halley is taller than Rekha Sharma but shorter than Michael Hogan and Aaron Douglas. Considering the fairly rapid advances that character has had, being the final Cylon would make the most sense.
Thanks. I’d be disappointed if it were…
Admiral Ro’s wig is the Fifth Cylon!
They ran out of goo making the skin jobs, so only had enough to grow a wig, but it is an evil, evil wig indeed.
Yeah…Tori is entertinaing sucks…giggedy!
I third it - it has been revealed that Roslin is wearing Cains hair…ewwwwwww
Again, I gotta say this was one of the bext episodes ever done. From start to finish. And to all the Lee haters (“he whines too much…” etc) ya gotta admit, he stepped up. One thing I kept thinking was that line from Superman “The Son becomes the Father and the Father the Son” fits in that moment.
And I completely agree with Audra, that last panning shot was brillaint. To see btoh teh Cylons and the humans looking stunned at depressed for the same reason… hell, even Baltar looked crushed.
Looking forward to the next podcasts and Poscast #146 (I think that may be the number of the first podcast of the new episodes).
No idea, just stumbled across it while looking for pictures of the “Five Priests”.

The same could be said of Starbuck, Roslin, Dualla, even Lee.
I don’t think the heights are significant. Anders is noticeably taller than Tyrol and Tigh, but the three tall robed figures looked to be around the same heights.
