I really thought my lineup was set to find that my kicker was riding the pine. I hate how when you replace a one-player position (I usually carry only one K) that it automatically benches them. With no way to add a player today, I’m playing without.
I also thought I’d started the Denver D I’d added specifically for this week’s game. Was kind of ticked off that they didn’t start, but I was happy to get the win monkey off my back. In a 10 team league where only 4 teams make the playoffs, I have to make with the winning NOW.
Can somebody go and knee cap my entire team for doing frak all this week? Please?
I think I’m finally learning projected totals and points means crap really.

I should have left Aaron Rogers in instead of replacing him with Roelisberger. Cinci was tougher on the Stealers than I thought they’d be.

Anyway, a lot of line up movements again this week. Seelixseesall and her PDW looks threatening to end everyone’s undefeated streak. Since Team of Intent Calamitous (3-0) plays against PDW next week, I don’t believe my comment is far fetch. I’m nervous because my team has consistently been performing 30-50 points under their projected totals. We’ll see.
This league we’re in has given me greater understanding and appreciation of football and its players. I use to limit my knowledge just to teams I like and don’t like, but now I’ve had to expand my knowledge to the whole league. So, thanks for the invite. I’ve yet much to learn because I still don’t know what PRK, PVO, %ST, and %OWN mean.
I’m thinking I might join a basketball Fantasy League for the similar opportunities in that sport.
Yea this week is gonna suck. I am hit up hard by injuries and bye week issues in both my leagues. AT least in our league i have more than 3 bench slots for the entire team. That way i dont have to decide if i want to just accept the bye week 0 for my kicker and/or TE
Fantasy football has definitely increased my enjoyment of the sport.
I love baseball and its fantasy counterpart have not.
PRK is “positional rank”, I believe.
%ST is how many teams across ESPN’s fantasy leagues are starting a given player.
%OWN is the same for ownership.
I’d have to look at PVO to figure out what it means.

Position vs. Opponent
“PVO” is a measure of how the opposing defense handles that skill position regardless of the individual skills of your player. Positive PVOs indicate that an offensive player in that position should perform well against the opponent’s defense, negative PVOs indicate the opposite.
Weird. I just saw when you mouse over the light-green cells, a yellow pop-up of the term comes up.
I dunno how widespread this is, but Comcast has a free preview of their Redzone channel. Seems pretty cool.

Cart, you’re still undefeated. My team is putting up some really great scores now. The past couple of weeks have been +100. But alas, the Deathwoks are now 1-3. I still feel like I’m really getting the hang of this, though. And I’m with you, Cart. Fantasy Football is really increasing my enjoyment of the games. I watch the NFL Redzone channel too. It’s frakkin awesome!

Our Defense were insane though! I was kicking myself for swapping away the Bengals before the evening games, then I remembered why I did it. I wasn’t optimistic about the Saints. I was pessimistic against the Jets’ QB, Mark Sanchez. Then, I started screaming against your 49er defense in the second half. lol!
Redzone goes hand-and-hand with Fantasy Football. I’m tempted to order it, but I won’t.

I wish everyone would put players they’d want to trade on their trade blocks and say who you’re interested in. It’s getting harder to pick good players from Free Agency as weeks past.
