GWC Fantasy Football League

I’m a winner again! Huzzah!

Question to our group. My PT plays in a league where they only allow 2 bench players. This forces much more trading and creative team management. My PT doesn’t pick a defense for his main roster and instead picks one up weekly. This sounds like a fun way to play the game and spread out the quality players. You are basically forced to release some. Could this be something we consider for next year?

What I love about Fantasy Football is low maintenance. I won’t play any other Fantasy sports for that reason. For all the other sports you have to check every day, make moves, watch the wire, Etc. With football it’s set and play once a week.

What you’re proposing is trade by desperation. I could see the fun in that but not sure if I’d like it.

Just my quatloos on that.

I am disappointed with the lack of trades this year, but I’m not sure I’d like the idea of forced trades.

If we can keep the number of owners to 12 or lower next year, I’d be in favor of keeping our current format.

If we had 14 or 16 owners like last year, then I think forced trades would be more beneficial to owners with bad drafts. Or split into two leagues.

Does that make sense?

Sheesh! I was lucky to get my third choice RB over the waivers this week.

Still sucks that half of my players have injuries.

It’s a crying shame that Hervecian Horrors’ bench has 61 points. Cozy Cuddlies’ bench is also tear worthy with 59 points.

One more week before playoffs.

I was the only one playing the waivers this week?

I couldn’t find anybody. I’m expecting a pretty stellar week just with the guys I’ve got. Kinda wish it was the playoffs this week with what I’m projected for.

That and man my team is the worst

Hey, Talos! We weren’t the only teams that tied this year!

I was going to suggest decimal points to avoid a tie. Yet I play in another league with decimal points and we had a tie in that league also.

Ha!

I was thinking a Home Field Advantage of 0.5 points. The only effective difference it would make would be for the home team to win a tie.

Whoa at the playoffs so far…

…aaand my best season ever ends in the first round of the playoffs, losing to a team with a sub-500 record.

Yay!

I was so shocked. So shocked

Congrats to fastcart and all those moving forward in the playoffs. Good luck.

Welp that’s the playoffs for the Vigilantes. Rooting for the 8th seed now. Cart I’m coming for you for 3rd

You’re on!

I’m just happy at the year I had. I making it to the second week of playoffs was icing. All down hill from here on.

What’s the opposite of a Cinderella story? Because that’s what’s happening to me. #1 in the league with a commanding 11-2-1 record and after 2 solid losses in the post season, I’m the favorite to win. If this story goes exactly the opposite of all fairy tales ever, I’m a shoe-in to lose.

NY Mets story?

I just logged on to check my team for this weekend and looked at the Playoff brackets. I didn’t realize that I was in the Championship bracket. WOW! Go Tropes!
