GWC Book Club Selection Discussion (May/June 2011)

Hello all!

We’re coming up on a new round of voting for the GWC Book Club, and I would love to see or hear from all of you as to what you’d like to be voting on! If something new has caught your eye, or you want to bump something that was mentioned ages ago, please do so. I’ll post a poll with the top 20 options on April 14. You have until then to make suggestions.

As ever, please make sure that any text that you want to nominate has ITS OWN THREAD. If there is already a thread on that text, bump it. If there’s not, create your own. Suggestions made only in this thread will not be included in the April 14 poll, however, debate may help your favorite choice win out this time around

Any new books, anyone? Short story collections are are must-reads? New novelists? Old novelists with new books? Old novelists with old books?

I would recommend House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski fro 2000.

Great, but you need to start a thread for it. I went and did it for you here.

You may want to add some arguments for it. (Baby pics work well, also.)

Welcome aboard, BTW.
