Yeah, it’s a real bummer. Maybe next time there is a big meetup. This one will be extra cool though considering it’s around the last episodes of BSG and that a lot of people will be meeting for the first time. Hopefully we can have another live talkshoe call sometime (not immediately after an episode) to just shoot the breeze

As the 1st Annual GWC Nat’l Meetup approaches and we start to finalize the details, I’ve created this forum to give us more room to discuss, work out ride/room details and so on. It just seemed easier to allow everyone to start full threads to discuss planning, etc. (After the meetup we’ll likely just merge this all back into the meetups forum, but until then we have a little more breathing room.)

If you’re looking for a way to share rides to or from the airport, seeking a roommate at the hotel, or are looking to coordinate your travel with other GWCers in any way, long-time GWCer Raemani just became your best friend. She’s graciously volunteered to help keep track of everyone’s availability and need.

Having met her at a NYC GWC Meetup last year, I can attest that she’s an awesome lady. And beyond that she’s uniquely qualified to make sure everyone gets where they need to go and finds matching travel-mates.

So here’s the deal: If you’d like to participate in room/ride sharing, drop Raemani a PM with your ticket information. She’ll take over from here and will (I’m sure) have more to say as we get closer to the event itself.

Same here, took forever. I ordered mine with Dizzy on them…in honor of GWC forums and Solai who got us all set up with our tags. Hopefully I get them before the meet up.

My sister is visiting a friend in Dallas over her spring break, which coincides with my spring break. We could drive down together, crash with her friend, and do the whole trip for no money if my parents pay for gas.
