GWC 100th Tribute Video

Huge props to you Glim! Great job! That was a well deserved bow at the end.

Did you find the derth of pix of The Trinity frustrating? I know I have.
I mean, sure it’s probably in their best interest not to have their likenesses all over the web for people to do frak-knows-what with…
But it makes messin’ with’em and doing frak-knows-what with their images all-the-harder for us merry pranksters.

We should set up a photo shoot.

And maybe a cyber-scan too.
Imagine the posibilities once we had their 3D data!
Animated avitars! Movies! Game characters!
…action figures.

Maybe I’m getting carried away.
Anyway, nice work.

Fabulous. In the words of the baddest muther in that galaxy far far away:

Impressive. Most impressive.

Wouldn’t a little throw pillow be a lot easier…

Fantastic video Glimfeather! Well done!

Excellent work! loved it.

There ain’t a prop big enough, fella!

gaf

Glimfeather, you are the coolest!

And this podcast was cool, even though it veered off topic. It was like a lovely trip down memory lane to high school and jr. high. I haven’t thought about that Miracle of Life video in years. Wow…

Glimfeather vs Sean’s Mom…

i cant take all this coolness… argh

You rock so much for that. Thanks for compensating for my lazyness/frogettfulness :stuck_out_tongue: It was really aweosme.

Glimfeather. Just to say the video is brilliant and I have added it to my favourites

Glimfeather, this is absolutely amazing. I never did find the ones of the rest of the Philly Crue (that’s what I get for cleaning up my laptop - but it was for the best it died about 2 weeks ago).

Truly amazing.

Oh my gods, this completely rocks!

THANKS for putting this together Stroogie!

(Holy cow, I’m in it too!)

…Also on the topic of Health Ed: Being in a private Catholic all-girls’ school, I had both the “Label the Major Countries” map and the “Miracle of Birth” video. Thankfully, none of my teachers were nuns with sticks or rulers, but I had married women teachers giving us thumbtacks (ala Pin-The-Tail-On-The-Donkey) for the poster.

After the “Miracle of Birth” vid, we had “Silent Scream”… now THAT one’s not for the faint-hearted…

again–really awesome work…sniff* even tho sniff I wasn;t in it :(…nono,I just hav a littel soemthing in my eye, I’ll be ok. :(:frowning:

kidding dude, it’ll good. really well put together.

really, David? I could’ve sworn I saw your avatar

(btw, Stroog/Glim, the vid is on my ipod, watch it all the time  and I used to hate that song)

i LOVE how he matched up the lyrics “One, two, three, four…” with the numbered Cylons! (“Nine” and “Ten” made me laugh)

…And the part where the song goes “…You know who you aaaare…” and it matches the GWC posters.

Fantabulous work, Stroogie!

It never occurred to me to put it on my iPod. That’s a great idea. How do yo do that? Can it be downloaded from YouTube? (Excuse my ignorance.)

Hmm, how DID you do that, LadyD? I can download videos from YouTube with RealPlayer, but I was trying to get a slightly nicer quality video file for bkitty and Raemani to put on their iPods. I think I’ve almost got it worked out.

I could tell you, but then I’d have to kill you

I’m on a mac, so odds are it won’t help you

I use SafariStand to copy youtube vid then convert for ipod using iSquint–both freeware

In Safari, open the youtube page, hit command-option-A, and doubleclick on the name of the video (should be the only one who’s size is changing.) That gives you an FLV file. Use iSquint (free, google it) to make it nice for the iPod/phone/touch.

Of course, that’s assuming you have a mac.

LadyD and Pike, I bow to your technological superiority. BTW, here’s another version of the song you might like if you’re sick of it (it helps if you’ve also seen the original Feist music video):

For the PC, here’s what we do.

My brother downloaded a Firefox widget for YouTube where you can just click on a little icon on the page that says “Download this video”.
Once the file is saved, we convert it using Jodix (it’s free) so it becomes an MP4.
Upload the file on your iTunes so it’s posted as a video.
