Yeah Colorful is sorta weird and crazy, but awfully racy… and it gets old after awhile. Kinda one-note comedy most of the time, but it is certainly different than anything we have shown here yet.

When is Badlands being released? Amazon shows it as unavailable, and Anime News says releasing Summer 2011.
I will be unavailable for the 28th, I will be at Phoenix ComicCon. So I can do Cowboy Bebop on the 21st, and then something else on the 4th.

I know the shadow tech one is, I have that. I see one frontier movie came out in 2009, and another is due out Feb 26 2011.
Yeah, the 2nd isn’t even out on DVD in Japan yet I think. Doesn’t look like Netflix has the first one yet either. Bleah.
OK, I think I watched ‘the False Songstress’ on Netflix… It was alright… But it might have been called something else… And was broken into parts. But the story fits with what I read.
It may be better if you’ve seen the series first, but Badland Rumble is the same way… ):

No I have been busy with ‘The Hunter and the Witch’ and ‘Burst Angel’, and have been reading alot.
I went on Netflix and now I cannot find what I was watching… weird. I remember it, a reporter rescues a zentrati vocalist and then they use her and the old SDF1 to fight the incoming fleet. Bizzare, it was like 3 90 minute movies, like how I watched Gundam Seed. Hrm.
I really did not like Trigun, I watched it all though because everyone kept talking about it. I liked the Preacher character better than Vash. Vash was a flake, and I dunno… just did not like him.
The movie might be better.
I got a couple of nostalgic short anime. Sol Bianca, and Silent Möbius and Silent Möbius 2.
Both have TV series, but the OAVs came first and they were better than both TV series imo. Silent Möbius is less family friendly, but I think Badger may like it.
I’m just making suggestions. I’m not roaring to get you both to watch (except Badland Rumble).

I have Sol Bianca somewhere in storage, a copy on VHS… heh. But I cant find the OVA on Right Stuf, only the series. They have Mobius, both of them… I’ll get those. I saw the first one ages ago… I also have that somewhere in storage… also on VHS…
Alright so I’ll post for the Bebop movie for next Saturday. You and Badger can watch whatever you want on the 28th. And how about Shadow Chronicles for the 4th? Then a Mobius?
