I’d like Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner. He’s like Captain Hammer only actually good.
As much as I like Nathan and I think this guy can act just about anything. As far as Guy goes Dennis Leary would be my pick. He has the attitude and the come backs cold. Just have to beef him up properly.

With what Hal is today that would be a yes. If you take him from where he would have been in his origin story then no.
