I just thought I’d mention some really cool but obscure “Geek” Holidays:
March 14 is National Pi Day
May 25 is Towel Day (or aka Douglas Adams Appreciation Day)
March 14th is also the 14-year anniversary of the Linux kernel version 1.0.0.

There’s March 14th… S&BJ day (WARNING - ADULT HOLIDAY DESCRIPTION). This is a holiday that’s designed to be the male equivlient of Valentine’s day, and is intended to motivate men to go over the top on February 14th.
If this tells you anything about the effectiveness of this motivation you should know that last Valentines day I had flowers delivered to my wife’s office, and then at 5:00PM a limo picked her up to meet me at the resturant. After dinner I brought her to Berk/WIlliams for a massage, and while I was waiting for her to finish I arranged with a the nail place next door for them to do a manicure and pedacure. Once she was all done up we went to a show. I’m looking forward to payback on Friday two weeks from now.
