Aw, that’s sad.
I know it’s just a comedy, but how did the Thermians build a device, which they don’t know it works, or what it does?
Eh, they’re idiot savants.
Old-world craftsmanship?
Red thingy movin’ toward the green thingy! I think we’re the green thingy!
If Galaxy Quest is anything like Star Trek there are plenty of tech manuals. They probably used those.
“I think we’re the green thingy”
This movie is so well done.
“Could you possibly manage not to hit every single one?”
Love that. I used that in the supermarket when my wife kept crashing the shopping cart every time we turned a corner.
“Look I have one job on this lousy ship. It’s stupid but I’m gonna do it.”
Love Sigourney.
BTW, the actor playing Sarris is Robin Sachs, AKA Ethan Rayne from BtVS:
This Sariss guy is brutal AND calculating… If I didn’t know any better I’d say they were screwed.
Computer only likes to talk to Gwen. Can’t blame it.
Nice!..
It took me years to figure out that one of the Thermians is Dwight from The Office.
“They’re not all historical documents. Surely you don’t think that Gilligan’s Island…?”
“Those poor people.”
:eek:Really? Where?
Pretty awesome. I only just noticed that the last time I watched it.
“Right again. C’mon, group hug.”
Sam Rockwell is wonderful in everything.
Tony Shalhoub does a frakkin excellent deadpan.
He’s in the limo at the beginning–hands Tim Allen the Coke. He kinda disappears once they get on the ship, but you can sometimes see him with Tech Sergeant Chen.
