It’s time again to pick you new family for this round of FSL. This time around the team will consist of two pairs of hero/arch enemies. for example Superman/Lex Luthor & Batman/Joker.

FSL 3.0 Nemesis / Invasion - FAQ

Some side notes and rules:

  1. No Gods or god like characters

  2. Team members selected to serve on someone else’s team are not eligible to another team. (though they can be traded) To check if someone already has your character Daisuke will post a link to the Google spreadsheet he is making to keep track of these things. When in doubt… check the spreadsheet!

  3. Team members must have a Sci-fi, fantasy, gaming or comic connection to be on a team.

  4. No stick in the muds

Now these are more rivals then good and evil nemesis but I believe they are in the spirit of what Sean is trying to do and I intend to play them that way.
If anyone calls foul, please let me know.

Hero - Scott Pilgrim (Comics)
Nemesis - Todd Ingram (Comics)
Hero - Bill “Husker” Adama (1st Cylon War)
Nemesis - Larry

(Yes, I’ve been sitting on having Larry on my team since last year.)

Also, keep in mind the “Persona” rule from the FAQ thread, Admiral Adama is still available.

Team “Freaky Fabulous”:

Hero 1: Finlay Campbell (Deathstalker)
Nemesis 1: Valentine Wolfe (Deathstalker)
Hero 2: Megan “Pixie” Gwynn (X-men comics)
Nemesis 2: Illyana “Darkchild” Rasputin (X-men comics)

I know Illyana is arguably a hero but considering this is freaky soulless goatleggy soulsucky Illyana, I think she counts!

Hero 1: The Doctor, David Tennant (Doctor Who)
Nemesis 1: The Master, John Simm (Doctor Who)
Hero 2: Captain Jack Harkness (Torchwood)
Nemesis 2: Captain John Hart (Torchwood)

Sean mention Invasion in the Faqs and I think I’m ready for everything including a Humor invasion :wink:

Team “Seriously?”

Hero 1: C-3PO (Clone Wars)
Nemesis 1: Jar Jar Binks (Clone Wars)
Hero 2: Obi-Wan Kenobi (Clone Wars)
Nemesis 2: General Grievous (Clone Wars)

This format is a bit of a curve ball, but my First team is what i was kinda planning over the break. Like Uchiha Daisuke’s team of rivals, mine are rivals at being annoying and not really good & evil towards each other. My Second team is a lot more defined in their love for each other.

Team Fraktard:

Hero 1: Captain of the Enterprise and every computer’s worst nightmare, James T Kirk.
Nemesis 1: Khan Noonian Singh, genetically engineered super badass.

Hero 2: Sterling Archer, ISIS’ top agent and international douchebag.
Nemesis 2: Lana Kane, Archer’s exgirlfriend and fellow ISIS agent.

ETA: Annnnd Topgun nicked Archer (by five minutes!) which blows up my idea. So, I’m disbanding my team and they’re free to use (excepting Archer, natch.)

Although I’m not really sure who’s the good guy out of that last pair. I think they’re both got their own flavor of bad.

Seriously, we must think alike because I was thinking of having Archer for Team Seriously before the new format. Once I heard about the new format the Kirk/Khan was first in my head but I thought I should try something new. Glad to see you are going to play, you were missed last time.

I thought about Young/Rush for my second pair. I also considered one second pair that would have been pure cheese.

Who were you thinking of for Chloe’s nemesis? I considered Lex, but figured he would have been more borderline than Lionel
